Dec, 2016

Due to the fact that we have yet to appoint a replacement for a valued team member and as a result of ongoing expansion we currently have two roles available at Fearn.

These roles encompass many tasks including tractor work (we use contractors for the main operations), maintenance, stock work, fencing, grassland management and much more.

It’s important that the successful applicants have some of the skills we require, but the rest can be taught or learnt on the job, training courses will also be given if required.

We are looking for people with the right frame of mind who will complement our small team which currently looks after 6000 breeding ewes and 250 beef cows along with 100ha of forage crops and 170ha of spring barley.

It’s fair to say that things are always busy at Fearn and we are committed to growing a successful business based on high quality stock and cereal production.

The job will have plenty variation with sensible hours and a sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Modern accommodation and an attractive package await the successful applicants.
