Land Management at Fearn Farm

Our industry is changing and with that change comes opportunity, as a team we have a variety of skills which allows us to manage land and livestock efficiently and effectively whilst operating safely within current legislation.

Whether its contract farming, leasing land or share farming we are open to suggestions and willing to discuss situations on an individual basis.
From experience the best thing to do is sit down with a blank sheet of paper to identify goals and objectives of all involved, by doing this options can be evaluated and plans can be formed with which to move forward.

Our approach to other people’s land is the same to our approach to our own, we are not interested in producing something that isn’t first class whether its Scotch Lamb, Beef or farm assured spring barley for the malting barley market.

We currently contract farm for one local family and have grazing and lease agreements on various other pieces of land both short term and long term.
